2-Channel Loop-Powered 0/4 - 20 mA Analog Input Terminal

Product Description

The purpose of the KL3042 and KL3052 analog input terminals is to power measuring
transducers in the field and to transfer analog measured signals in an electrically
isolated fashion to the control system. The supply voltage for the sensors is routed to
the terminals via the power contacts. The Power contacts can be powered optionally via the
standard power supply or an incoming feeder terminal (KL9xxx) with electrical isolation
for the operating voltage. The electronic input circuitry is independent of the supply
voltage for the power contacts. The "0 V bar" is the reference potential for the
inputs. The Error LEDs indicate overloads and wire breakages and the Run-LEDs indicate the
data-transfer to the bus coupler.
