Product Description

The KL6001 serial interface enables the connection of units with a RS232 interface. This
interface operates in conformity with the CCITT V.28 / DIN 66 259-1 standards. The unit
connected to the KL6001 terminal communicates with the controller via the bus coupler. The
active communication channel operates independently of the higher-level bus system in full
duplex mode at a rate of up to 19.200 baud. The RS232 interface guarantees a high degree
of insusceptibility to faults thanks to electrically isolated signals.
