Product Description

The KL6021 serial interface enables the connection of units with an RS422 or RS485
interface. The unit connected to the KL6021 terminal communicates with the controller via
the bus coupler. The active communication channel operates independently of the
higher-level bus system in half duplex mode at a rate of up to 19.200 baud. The RS485
differential signal transfer guarantees a high degree of insusceptibility to faults thanks
to electrically isolated signals.
