SSI Sensor Interface

Product Description

The SSI terminal KL5001 serve to directly connect a Synchron Serial Interface (SSI)
sensor. The sensor is powered via the SSI interface. To read the sensor output, the
interface circuit outputs a clock signal and places the arriving data stream at the
disposal of the controller as a data word in the process image. Diverse operating modes,
data transfer frequencies and bit widths can be set via control registers. A shield can be
connected via the KL9195 bus terminal.
