Product Description

The supply input terminals can be placed anywhere between the input/output terminals in order to create a further potential group or, in the event of a high current load, to supply the terminals following on the right with higher currents. The supply input terminals can be used for voltages up to 230V AC. The terminals with a diagnostics function report possible power failures or short-circuits to the controller.

The incoming feeder terminals enable the creation of diverse potential groups with any chosen voltages (KL9190) or with the standard 24V DC or 230V AC voltages (please enquire about 120V). The supply input terminals are available with and without fine-wire fuses. To monitor the supply voltage, the terminals featuring the diagnostic function signal the status of the incoming feeder terminal to the bus coupler by means of two input bits. This enables a check of the decentralised peripheral voltage via the field bus with the controller.

By means of the KL9180, KL9185 and KL9195 bus terminals, the supply voltage can be tapped multiply via spring force terminals. These bus terminals dispense with the need for the use of additional modular terminal blocks on the terminal strip.

The connection of shields can be handled by the KL9195 bus terminal. The KL9195 connects the spring force contacts directly to the tophat rail and is capable of optimally dissipating irradiated electromagnetic interference. The two Power contacts are looped through by the KL9195 and permit the connection of two wires each.

The KL9010 bus end terminal is needed for the exchange of data between the bus coupler and the bus terminals. Each module must be terminated on the right with one KL9010 bus end terminal. The bus end terminal has no further function or possibility of connection.
