Two systems work on the same principle of providing a bus coupler for the different busses to the standardized I/O system. One is called 'Fieldbus Terminals' and provides cost efficient flexibility with its 1, 2 or 4 channel I/O segments for almost any conceivable I/O requirement. Additionally, bus couplers are available with an embedded stand alone PLC (IEC1131). The other, the Fox Series, is used in harsh environments (stamping presses) or for customized applications with its embedded micro controller. Applications such as 4-axis controller, electronic cam shaft (cycle time < 200µs) or frequency measurement have been solved this way. |
